B2B Bank News
June 27 :
Possible Canada Post Strike
Workers at Canada Post may be going on strike.
Like most other businesses, B2B Bank and B2B Bank Dealer Services will be affected by a postal strike, which would interrupt the regular delivery of statements, bills and any other correspondence we normally send.
A postal strike will also disrupt the delivery of mail to us from our clients and suppliers. We’re working with our third-party suppliers to ensure minimal disruption. In the event of a postal strike, several options are available to ensure clients can continue to receive payments or make payments on bills, loans and mortgages:
- To continue receiving uninterrupted payments you may set up an electronic funds transfer (EFT) if one is not already in place.
- For banking products, you may opt for direct deposits and preauthorized payments; cheques will never need to be sent by mail again.
- Manage your banking accounts online or by telephone. To register for these services, please contact us at 1.866.334.4434. Banking clients can also sign up for epost™ to receive statements and bills online.
For more information please contact a member of our Client Services team from Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. ET.
